Why is GetLenses so cheap?

To say we sell cheap contact lenses online is definitely one way of putting it. But we rather prefer to think of ourselves as very inexpensive – compared to many online contact lenses retailers and almost always when compared to high-street opticians.

Why do we say that? Well, the word ‘cheap’ could mean inferior quality. But in our case it most definitely does not. And here’s why…

Our lenses come from the original manufacturers. Always.

That means whether you buy your lenses from the high street at, say, Boots Opticians, Specsavers, Vision Express or D&A, or you get them from us, you always get exactly the same lenses. They’re from the same factories, made on the same machines, by the same people. The only difference you’ll notice is the significantly lower price.

How do we keep our prices so low?

1. We have tens of thousands of customers so we buy an incredible amount of contact lenses and have over a million in stock...
2. So we get great discounts from the manufacturers…
3. And we pass the savings on to you.
4. We don’t have expensive high-street shops that need staffing, heating and lighting.
5. We’ve concentrated on keeping our overheads as low as possible, to save you even more.

In short, you get all the benefits of the contacts you already wear at less cost.
